Can I combine a health check with STI testing?

Yes. MDC’s combined profile includes selected general health blood tests and sexual health screening using blood, a urine or vaginal/genital sample, and throat and rectal swabs.

Tell us your last possible exposure date, any symptoms and whether a collaborator or production requires a specific report. This helps establish whether the profile and timing fit your needs.

What does the combined profile include?

General health blood tests

Full blood count, kidney function and electrolytes, liver markers, CRP, iron studies and magnesium.

These provide information about selected aspects of health; they do not rule out every condition or replace assessment of symptoms.

Sexual health testing

The published profile lists HIV antigen/antibody, syphilis, hepatitis B surface antigen and hepatitis C antibody tests, alongside genital PCR testing and throat and rectal chlamydia/gonorrhoea swabs.

See the full list of tests and samples .

More tests are not automatically better. Some extended-panel organisms are not routinely screened for in people without symptoms. Ask the clinical team which tests are appropriate and how unexpected findings would be interpreted.

The profile is listed at £599, with an expected turnaround of 2 working days. Confirm the current price and reporting arrangements when booking; additional laboratory checks can take longer.

Can I use a preferred name or have coded samples?

You can request a preferred name for communication and ask about identifying your samples with a code rather than your name. Please discuss this with MDC before collection so staff can explain what is possible under the laboratory’s identification requirements.

Coded samples are not the same as a fully anonymous medical record. MDC must retain a secure link between you, your samples and your results for safe care and follow-up.

If you need an identity-verified report for work, confirm the required name and identification before booking. Discuss who may receive your results and how you want to be contacted.

Ask about privacy arrangements

Testing before a shoot or collaboration

If you create adult content on OnlyFans or another platform, your testing needs depend on actual sexual contact, symptoms and exposure history. Your occupation alone does not determine which tests you need.

  • Check requirements first: obtain the required tests, sample sites, test methods, report identification and accepted sample dates from your collaborator or production.
  • Allow for window periods: a recent infection may not yet be detectable. Fast reporting does not remove the need to test at the right time.
  • Confirm compatibility: this MDC profile is not advertised as PASS certification or automatic clearance to work. PASS specifies particular methods, including HIV RNA testing, which is not listed in this profile.

A negative result applies to the infections and sites tested, subject to timing and test limitations. It cannot guarantee that a future encounter is risk-free.

Your appointment and next steps

  1. Enquire: ask whether you need the combined profile or a more focused sexual health screen .
  2. Prepare: confirm any fasting or urine-collection instructions, tell staff about recent antibiotics, and agree identification and privacy arrangements.
  3. Attend: the team explains the blood collection and swabs. Tell staff if a sample is uncomfortable or you need support.
  4. Review: agree how results will be delivered and explained. Reactive, positive or unexpected findings may require confirmation, clinical assessment, treatment referral or repeat testing.

Ask which consultations or follow-up services are included and which carry a separate fee.

Quick answers for creators and performers

Do you welcome OnlyFans creators?

Yes. MDC welcomes adult creators and performers of all genders, alongside other patients. You can discuss relevant sexual contact without having to explain your content or audience.

Is a urine test enough?

A urine sample does not test the throat or rectum. Swabs assess those sites. Tell the team about relevant contact so sampling reflects your needs.

How soon after sex should I test?

It depends on the infection and test method. Tell MDC the exposure date before booking. You may need testing now and a repeat later; seek assessment promptly if you have symptoms.

Can I test under my stage name?

Ask about preferred-name and coded-sample arrangements before attending. Clinical records and identity-verified reports may require additional details, especially if results are intended for work.

Will the report be accepted for a shoot?

Confirm requirements with the production or collaborator and ask MDC to check them before you pay. A broad health profile is not automatically an accepted performer-testing panel.

Do I need the full profile every time?

Not necessarily. General health blood tests and STI screening can have different purposes and schedules. Agree repeat testing with a clinician based on your circumstances.

Recent exposure or symptoms?

If you may have been exposed to HIV within the last 72 hours, seek urgent assessment for PEP at a sexual health clinic or A&E. Do not wait for a routine appointment or test result.

If you have sores, unusual discharge, pain or a known STI contact, seek prompt clinical advice rather than relying on a routine screen alone.
